Project Timeline

Construction is underway! 

From Fall 2023 until the project’s completion, The Eatery will operate in phases, with stations closing down and new ones replacing them. Each station that closes down will be accommodated with additional outfitted stations in The Eatery and other spaces on campus, ensuring that the value of the dining program remains consistent.

Phase 1 - COMPLETE

Summer 2023

Over the Summer, construction will primarily focus on The Eatery’s kitchen area. This will ensure dining operations can resume when students return in August for the 2023-2024 academic year. When operations begin, students will have the opportunity to try the first completed dining location, The Delicatessen, and shop at The Market a futuristic, contactless shopping experience.

Phase 2a - COMPLETE

Fall 2023

Cucina will be closed.

Phase 4

Summer 2024

446 Diner, Crave Global, Rooted, and Kale 2 Pitt will be closed.

This phase is scheduled for Summer 2024. The entire dining facility will be offline.

Project Complete

Fall 2024

The Eatery is currently slated to conclude construction by the beginning of the 2024-2025 academic year.

At this time, customers will have access to the fully renovated space, and can dine at:

Table 33, Kokumi, Cucina, Flourish, Farm Stand, The Briny Pickle, Food Truck, The Delicatessen, and Unwind.

Additionally, students can stock up on snacks, drinks, and other necessities at our frictionless shopping experience, The Market
